Casamayor is well proven at 135 and Marquez is coming up in weight. Don't get me wrong, I do think that Marquez will win but the value is too good not to throw a little something on Casamayor. I think that Las Vegas Sports Consultants either got these odds wrong or know something that we don't. I'm waiting til right before the fight because there will be a ton of Mexican money coming into vegas from Cali that will be laid on Marquez. Hopefully by fight night I will get Casa at +400.

Casamayor's last two fights, and his age.

He hasn't looked as old. He's fought well recently. He arguably beat Manny Pacquiao, out-classed Rocky Juarez, and beat Marco Antonio Barrera in his last 3 fights.

Casa's last 3 fights were a life-and-death struggle with Michael Katsidis, a gift over Jose Santa Cruz, and a close win over Chico Corrales, who looked lousy in that fight.

The Katsidis fight was close by the 10 round and Katsidis was only up 1 round the most. The only real lost that Casamayor have had in his career was against Santa Cruz. The other fights were really close and I gave it Casamayor.Marquez should be the favorite but it should be closer than a 3/1 odd on favorite and I wouldn't be shocked if Casamayor wins and I wouldn't even call it an upset.

I agree, with these odds the smart money should be going on Casamayor for those of you who are genuinely undecided...I won't be making that bet because I think Casamayor will lose.

I agree with you. JMM has been fightn far better opponents and looks much younger than Casa in terms of boxin skills.

You hit the nail on the head. It's not difficult to figure how they came about these odds.

A Campbell Casaymayor double pays 10.25/1 on bet 365

Worth a few quid but i think Casaymayor and Guzman will win
