Honestly, the only body shot that I've ever seen truly, truly affect Pacquiao was the Margarito body shot in round 3 where his rib was broke. That's the only one where Pacquiao was obviously almost dropped, running for his dear life, and covering up his right side.

I honestly couldn't tell Pacquiao was hurt w/ Marquez 4 though. What was it about him in your opinion that showed Pacquiao was hurt? Did he appear slow? Protecting his body? I'll rewatch the fight again.

I never thought any body shot hurt him significantly, or at least obviously, because he was still letting his hands go aggressively, and never looked to be on the defensive. Even after the first hard KD, about 10 seconds later when you'd think he would go defensive, Pacquiao was straight up slugging it out with him. I still remember the quote, "A fight has broke out in Las Vegas!"

    That fight was so awesome.

Watch the first three rounds. Marquez was hammering Pacquiao with right hands to the midsection, and you could tell Pacquiao was'nt liking it there. (Who does?)

Anyways, watch the knockdown in round 3. Marquez dipped low, disguising going to the body once again. Pacquiao dropped his hands momentarily anticipating the jackhammer right hand was headed to his belly again, but instead Marquez went over the top with a roundhouse overhand right that dropped Pacquiao hard.
The reason Pacquiao was dropped so hard was that he was'nt expecting it to the head, he thought it was going to his body and was bracing to recieve it to the body.

I'll definitely watch the first three rounds again!

And, yes, the KD was a slick move by Marquez, but I think it was more of Marquez tricking Pacquiao into thinking it would be a body shot than Pacquiao being hurt.

After watching those 3 rounds, skip to round 6.
Pacquiao does well the first half of the round, but watch Marquez turn the tide about midway through the round and really start to nail Pacquiao with shots.
Pacquiao looks to me in the latter half of the round to be dragging his punches, the result of the earlier body attack.
Pacquiao was laboring my friend. Come back to me and tell me you dont see that. Its clear as day to me.

He wont get past Mayweathers jab.

Floyd will dance all round him, every time Pacqiauo lunges forward hes going to walk into a sharp right hand which will make him think twice.

I was kind of thinking about this. Other than trying to counter Pac how else does Mayweather really get any shots off of his own aggression? other than his jab

yeah like i said other than floyds jab right? but his jab is strong.. tight.. and solid. Don't think he'll need more than that to beat Pac? or is that enough to keep Pac off and counter Pac once things slow down or land lead rights here and there?

Another question will Pac be discouraged when he realizes Mayweather doesn't take any chances and is hard to hit? Pac needs to stay active with angles and movement and feints the whole fight doesn't matter if he is actually hurting floyd with punches or not just touching him is fine I think to win and not let things slow down ever

Yup body shots are going to be a big part of Floyds plan imo. He really needs to slow Pac down and he can hurt him to the body .

Mayweather really can dig to the body

Pacquiao nullifies the jab better than anyone in boxing.

Barrera and Cotto are some of the best jabbers in recent era, and Pac countered their jab bad. In fact the first Cotto KD was a result of Cotto's jab being countered.

The jab isnt a great punch to throw against Pac. The right hand makes a lot more sense, he's so damm open to that.

floyd is not a warrior, it's all self-preservation so pac better prepare for a lot of hugging illegal punch ala ortiz fight.

Seeing as Mayweather will probably use his high guard more than his shoulder roll, he'll probably be jabbing more trying to set a right hand. In light of this, he will have to stay in the center of the ring and off the ropes to make that guard effective
