This fight was not given to him on a silver platter. He called out Floyd and Floyd, opportunistic as he is, accepted it. Never was he mentioned as a possible opponent for Floyd. Pac, Margo, Cotto, Williams, etc are pssible opponents but Marquez is a long shot. Floyd was the money and a tune up which he admitted at first. Damn, he will even pay Marquez a step aside money to fight Pac.

If you don't like Mayweather it is a mismatch. If He wins than he was suposed to win. If he loses expect to hear from those who said it is a mismatch claming Mayweather is overratted or in the popular languge of ESB a fraud.
This is not a mismatch. Yes Mayweather should win but that dose not make it a mismatch.

Have you heard about upsets in boxing?? If Floyd loses, it's a huge upset... and I'll be rolling on the floor laughing on Floyd if this upset happens... BTW, I'm rooting for JMM to win this but I think it's not happening... JMM is so much in disadvantage in this mismatch fight...

The fight might end up being a mismatch but your post makes no sense....

This could be true and if it is true then he is fighting only for the money.... right???

If he knows deep inside he can't beat Floyd that means he knows he is going to lose the fight, and if he loses the fight how in hell he will get back on Pac??

There is a reason why weight classes exist. No? Then all the little guys should have to fight the bigger guys and lets see how many of them loose.

Lets break down the key compoents. (I copy/pasted these from your post.)
.......................Size - Floyd Yes Mayweather is bigger at 5′ 8″/and a 72″ reach compared to Marquez at 5′ 7″ /67". one inch in hight and 5" in reach. Mayweather has long arms for someone his size dose that make every bout he is in a mismatch?
.......................Age - Floyd Mayweather 32 Marquez 36 only 4 years diffrence.
....................Speed - Floyd Mayweather is faster than everyone he has faced all mismatches?
......................Skills - Floyd once again same as speed.
...................Weight - Floyd Mayweather has to come down in weight he has not fought below 147 sence 2005. Marquez on the other hand won't have to starve him self to make weight. Advantage Marquez.
Style (same as skills) - Floyd (same as skills)
....................Reach - Floyd True but he usulay has a reach advantage
...........Height/Taller - Floyd 1" that's not that much of an advantage.
    .......Ring Generalship - Floyd
    ........................Ego - Floyd
    ....................Power - Floyd (slightly)
    ..................Stamina - Floyd (slightly)
    .......................Chin - Floyd (slightly)
    ................Accuracy - Floyd (slightly)
    ................Workrate - even
    Quality of Opponents - even
    .........Corner/Trainer - even
.....Experience at 144 - Floyd both boxrs are 0-0-0 at 144
    .......Ring Experience - JMM
    .....................Heart - JMM (slightly)
....... Recent activity - JMM (slightly)
    .................. Hunger - JMM

Look at it as a whole... Floyd has advantages in most factors/categories then you sum it all up and you have a clear mismatch...

I like boxing when the deciding factors are skill, speed and strength. But when when height, weight, reach are thrown into the equation, it just doesn't sit well with me. Especially if the guy with the height, weight and reach advantages is already the favorite on the skill, speed and strength department.

Honestly, I think a lot of people are just hoping that JMM can perform just as well or even better while coming up in weight so that the fight will be competitive. I'm hoping that too, but I just wish that "can he move up in weight effectively?" wasn't one of the main variables of the fight.

Correction......this fight is'nt the next best thing next to a Pac fight for JMM.....its actually a bigger fight and more a legacy builder than any official Pacquiao victory would bring.

JMM said, "since Pacquiao does'nt want to fight me, I want to fight the best P4P fighter, and that is Mayweather."
.......which from my perspective translates to a bigger task than a Pacquiao fight.

People can say the fight is a mismatch all they want, but I certainly see the Mayweather fanboys shaking in their shoes and being nervous right before the opening bell.
Mismatch fights dont produce that kind of tension!:yep
