For example, he waited for Pacman to be scalped via a KO and by Father time before finally agreeing to face him. Floyd seemed comfortable with the whole scenario to me.

Delahoya had already been scalped by Trinidad, Hopkins, and Mosely twice.

Well, if you believe that Margarito and Canelo have identical styles then I can understand why you reach the conclusion that he will merely provide GGG with a walking heavy bag.

 

In other words, you cant compare Margarito's extreme deficit in the defensive department coupled with the most offensive fighter in recent history to Canelo who is highly effective defensively and Golovkin who is clearly slower.

I assure you neither fighter will quit especially not Canelo and neither corner will throw the towel.

 

Also, Golovkin's style isn't the Pacman style as the previous poster suggested. The pace at which Pacman fought at prime was far faster. He also shifted angles of attack rapidly whereas Golovkin strives to slowly walk his opponent down toward the ropes where he can brain him.
