I'm not sure a prime Paul Williams had better technical abilities than current Wilder. I'd say around equal.

    :deal

The more I think about it the more similar I think those two are

    Paul Williams and Deontay Wilder

Both are lanky, both are pretty good technically, both have great power (Deontay more ofc but Paul wasnt a powder puff puncher), both have great jabs.

He said that Al Haymon takes real good care of him. Calls him almost every day to see how he is doing.

There doesn't seem to be too much footage or pictures of him recently but I guess it's safe to assume that he is still disabled. God, I have no idea how he manages to be in good spirits despite his condition. I hope he is not pretending and actually enjoying life to the extent his body allows him to.

    Tragic.

I have heard rumors that Al Haymon is looking after Paul Williams. Also recently he getting into training boxers. Every time I have seen him in pics recently, he's still in the wheelchair but in good spirits.

They are different fighters. Deontay doesn't overwhelm with activity like Paul Williams. P4P Deontay has much more power and compared to others in same division. Only similarities is that they both have height and reach over most of their opponents. Folks love to stereotype though so I hate these comparisons. Almost every hater has some type of stereotype they have in mind for these fighters.

I see very little similarity between Deontay and Paul as well. They are both taller than most of their opponents which is about it.

It's a matter of time before he climbs in the ring again. He's not too old.

Paul had good foot placement, pumped the jab, threw at many different angles, had a variety of punches, worked up and down and could fight on the outside or inside..... :huh
