    Kessler is better than the current version of Jones

    Kessler and Hopkins certainly are in their current states. Lacy would have given him hell given his struggles with Hanshaw for christ sake. Anthony Hanshaw? Didn't the alarm bells even start ringing when Dirrell ****ed him up?

    It's not the point either. When you are tired and have nothing left, anybody can get knocked out.

    Yeah, Calzaghe won't have a hard time tracking down RJJ. He simply doesn't have the legs to move for 12 rounds. I see Calzaghe getting in a lot of shots with the way he throws from different angles on RJJ's high guard.

    But the great equalizer is RJJ's hand speed and power. Plus, he's good at throwing combinations on the inside. If Calzaghe gets careless anytime, RJJ might catch him with something. That's why this fight is interesting to me. Most likely outcome, Calzaghe UD. But RJJ still has a shot.

    I can tell you this Roy Jones' legs don't compare to those of an Antwaan Echols.

    And Kessler would get knocked out against Roy Jones ... any version --

    I personally think that Kessler is overrrated and is a KO waiting to happen.

    I'm sure one of our (US) up and comers will give Kessler his first KO defeat and if it weren't for that ref ... Kessler wouldve been stopped against Calzaghe.

    I'm not the one defending a guy with 3 losses in a row, 2 of which he got knocked out cold in, as well as 36 rounds against 2 cans and former welterweight coming off a 2 year lay off

    Cya around :good

    He lost 3 straight title fights ... in a span of a year ... no layoff after 2 knockout losses and is still fighting 12 rounds.

    Tito also was a middleweight champion ... KO'd Joppy ... only other person to do that was Lucian Bute.

    You're a troll ... get off my jock ... you wish you could have as much knowledge about the sport than I do.

    You're a nobody, filled with jealousy and envy ...

    From now on Sweet Pea call me J.O.S.E ... because Jealous Ones Still Envy

    What is the point of trying to convince a proven troll? Every single time you make a thread like this and get made an ass of(which is, oddly enough, every single thread you make) you always try your hardest to keep the thread going as long as possible just to bait other posters into falling for your trolling trap. You've also already stated that noone can possibly convince you, so what is the point? You're one of the stupidest, most ignorant morons there's ever been in the General Forum, up there with guys like Bigtime9, Johnco, PacDBest, etc.

    What an acerbic rebuke! The spelling has a touch of irony.

    No, I take everything back. You are entirely correct on everything you've said:
    * Roy Jones has only slightly declined;
    * Jones hasn't shown a decline in speed or reflexes
    * Tarver would still give anyone trouble (have you seen a single Tarver fight of the last 2 years? No, of course not);
    * No-one else on this thread knows the definition of a shot fighter;
    * Everyone has said he was shot because he lost fight or two. No-one mentioned anything about a decline. Even if they had, see above;
    * Jones will be the "wbc or wba/ring magazine titlist by next year;
    * Getting KOd happens in this sport (thanks for that great insight. I had no idea);
    * Antwon Echols' legs don't compare to those of Roy Jones;
    * RJJ (who couldn't ko a past-it, blownup welterweight in his last fight, and hasn't kod anyone in years) would right now ko Kessler (who has never been kdd in his career);
    * Kessler would have been stopped by Calzaghe but for the ref;
    * "No-one can prove to you" that Jones is shot.

    Actually that last one is probably true....because you're (please note how to spell it, dead****) an imbecile. You are an absolute, read absolute, muppet. Go and impale yourself on a rusty crane.

    So I suppose when Calzaghe beats him, you'll give him credit for the win
