Dzinziruk's footwork is just fine and quite quick and his counterpunching is elite....

can you cut with the foul language? where not in your local $2.00/pint bar right now. show me what fight Dzinzurik fought going backwards. he doesn't. he wins by pressure like KP, idiot. and dont try and compare the competition of kp to dzinzurik. kp beat miranda, jt twice and fought b-hop. dzinzurik beat julio and santos, thats it.

they are both fight going foward fighters. that's what they have in common. except that kp has beat the better quality of fighters and thats why he is +375.

your foul language makes you appear very uneducated.

his handspeed and footspeed are better than KP's but KP holds a distinct advantage in power. However, their styles are similar(pressure fighters that work off the jab). I believe a pre-JT KP beats Dzinzurik. I may make a small play on Dzinzurik but it looks like a loser because he cannot KO SM. if he cant get his jab off, he has no chance.

I made a play on mayorga at +650. it will be fun while it lasts.

I never compared there comp. Dzinzurik got dealt a bad hand and had a shitty promotor who's only goal was to line his own pockets and not let his fighters lose.

And watch any fight of Dzinzurik's and you'll see him fighting going backwards at some point and counter punching.

Dzinzurik wins fights using his jab and boxing and sometimes late in fights after the fighter has wore out he will start coming forward and break them down. All Pavlik does is come forward and throw 1-2's and doesnt even double up on his jab. Also Dzinzurik perfers his fights at center ring where as Pavlik wants his opponents backs against the ropes to limit whatever movement they have.

Dzinzurik has good footwork and Pavlik has **** footwork and also needs to be set to throw punches and any fighter with lateral movement gives Pavlik trouble.

Dzirzurik is also way faster both in hand and foot speed and doesnt get sloppy like Pavlik and caught with punches.

Pavlik fights to wear his opponent out and knock them out. Dzinzurik fights very relaxed and just racks up points for a decision win. If a KO comes it comes.

i agree with many of your points, especially the lateral movement that created so many problems for him in the Hopkins fight. Dzinzurik may have shown some skills because his level of opponents is inferior(santos, julio) to that of KP's(Miranda,JT twice,B-hop). However, theri styles are similar in that they work off the jab and throw the straight right(pav) or left(Dzin). They both do not fight well going backwards(PbF,Hop,marquez). I really dont give Dzin much chance to win as he probalby can't KO SM and will have to win a decision where SM holds the advantages in speed, endurance, punch output and lateral movement.

    thanks for your analysis.

Martinez isnt much bigger and is shorter and there power is prob the same. Martinez's punching power is seriously overrated right now. Against everyone except for Williams his punches had very little power on them and it will be the same vs Dzinzurik. Against Williams he just knew he could throw hayemakers he wouldnt normally throw and not pay for it and land because of Williams lack of skills, power and defence.

Power is equal IMO and Dzinzurik is def the sharper puncher.

How does he beat him? Martinez has some advantages going for himself, such as: reach, speed, fluidity in movement, more diversity (can use angles and fight from inside and out), and maybe also power at 160.

Dzin has also been inactive while Martinez has been terrorizing some middleweights.

 If he did, then he would still be undefeated and possibly an ATG. He never listens to his ATG trainer though and has payed the price. I have a feeling that in May he's gonna throw nothing but double jabs.

Martinez showed his power against Williams, Bunema, and Cintron and has put on some size in the last year. Dzinziruk is quite slender by comparison. Some do overrated Martinez's power but he does have power and more than Dzinziruk.

Op does make an interesting point. Dziniruk will be the smartest most technical fighter sergio has ever faced.

It will be a very interesting fight. It's a fight Maravilla could lose, but I still favor him to pull it out.

dzin jab is going to be inefective because of martinez 8" reach advantage so i think martinez will out box him and land the harder shot.
