after hatton got flattoned do you still feel the same overwhelming feelings of patriotism or do you feel pissed that another english man tried to beat the best in america and another one failed, add another one to the long list of those who have fallen literaly at the hands of great american fighter.

    I'm very happy thanks

Ricky was always a long way behind Joe Calzaghe, as far as boxing ability goes. Yet he is still the best at 140, second is another Brit as it happens

Joe Calzaghe isn't bad, only the best ever at 168, and the man to beat at 168-175

That David Haye is alright as well, undisputed cruiser champ I heard. Knocked a few Euro bums out

So overall, pretty happy with the way things are going for ourselves. Well done for having a handful of decent fighters, and about 20 old men that should have retired when they still had some respect in your nation of 300 million

    Did **** all at 168

But even so, the point is he is a great fighter. Heading a long list of outstanding fighters on these shores at present

So ****ing what? Ok, he MIGHT be the second best at 168. I doubt it, but I'll say it to shut you yanks up for a second

All this talk about RJJ reminds me of the relics you have fighting, Hopkins, RJJ, Oscar, Mosley, Wright

Do yourselves a favour, stop buying their fights, and retire the ****ers. You have a mixed bag of old men, and green hypejobs. Your outstanding fighter is set to retire very shortly leaving you in tatters, so the thread starter shouldn't be getting too big for his boots

Why would it hurt our pride that Ricky got beat by the best in a weight class he isn't even his best at? He will drop back down to 140 where the only person capable of testing him is also a Brit.

Calzaghe has humiliated the last 2 Americans that tried to bring it. He will humiliate another one soon enough.

Considering boxing is so huge in America, and considering your huge talent pool owing to your 300 million population, America is an absolute joke on the boxing scene.

Your pride should be shot to pieces.

Ricky Hatton got "flattened", not "flattoned". If you are looking to slate British boxers, at least sort your spelling out.
