O yea and the guy in the pic :deal mite just give calzaghe a big run for his money at 175...the only thing thats preventing that is the fact that he's not big enough of a name "meaning he's too much of a risk" for calzaghe, who btw is not exactly young.

Honeyghan beating Curry, Benn beating Clelland (and Barclay), Lewis battering Tyson (and others), Calzaghe thrashing Lacy, and many others still give me a good feeling.

I'm American and I know the Brits are doing well....how could those crazy fans be upset when even after Hatton got KO'd they were still cheering his name and singing his song.

That is what I call "TRUE FANS".....not only did they trek from the UK to the US to watch their guy fight, they never showed the world any waiver in their support even after seeing their man get a boxing lesson from boxing best P4P.

I think Hatton is the only one who is a bit depressed although he has nothing to be ashamed of. he absolutely tried his best and he make a great showing. The Brit fans surprised me a bit with their booing of the national athem but of course they were pretty wasted.

I like all fighters, Im from America and I don't think were are no better than anybody else. The UK has had and has good Champs and the Same for America. Boxing is about respect not disrespect.

 

I'd say we still have plenty of pride as Hatton is not the only British fighter. If he was I'm sure we'd be devastated but since we have two other undisputed champs in Calzaghe and Haye things aren't looking bad.

 

I am pretty fine hatton got beat of a better man. It does not matter one bit, I mean if 08 will be a great year frankie gavin winning a gold medal at the china olympics, calazghe beat hopkins and hatton beating PM. Be a great year accept for england not being in the euro's.

 

Hatton fought a great fighter, he put up a good fight but lost its done now.
