i doubt he does mostly push ups but you can shadow box with light weights to get ripped just do bodyweight exercises like pullups and chinups better for boxers i did weights and i got stronger but lost some flexibility make sure your stretch regularly if u are gonna do weights
I'm new here but what is it about the weight training stuff that everyone is "loling" about? Is it because you guys think boxers should not build strength or is it the terrible advice given on here? I'm being completely serious too... I feel like I'm missing something here:think
It's the theory that boxers shold only use light weights which is a load of ****. And that heavy weights will definately make you slow. Really, weights are good, so long as you're not 'bodybuilding' and your weights/strength training does not make you sacrifice technical training.
Heard he does deadlifts. go 2 title boxing. Freddie Roaches dvd collections supposedly has pacs regime. a lot of plyos.
He does preacher curls 4 x 10, forearm curls 4 x10, donkey calve raises 3 x 20. If he has time I heard he incorporates tricep extensions also. Boxers sometimes neglect the importance of the third tricep head.
Funny, I heard he does three sets of bicep curls, 3 sets of mirror posing and grunting then 200000 crunches.
That's on the "Tuesday Thursday" split. I was referring to his MWF workouts. He takes Vanadyl Sulfate on Saturdays and "Hot Stuff XX." Please tell me somebody remembers that stuff!!
