And I'm sure a 6ft 5in, 300lbs meathead couldn't climb a wall as fast as I could, or sprint 100m, or get in as many positions in the bedroom but... There are pros and cons to every body shape, so **** off with your 'big is best' attitude. If that's not what you're saying then you better make ammends because right now you're coming across like a total ****.

  2. no im just saying that 90 percent of the time these big meatheads dont know how to fight are unfit and slow theres no need to be intimidated by that , sure if lennox lewis or a 300lbs guy who could move came up to me id be worried but those guys dont come around so often , my point is size most of the time isnt really a factor when it comes down to it

    And?

    And?

    And?

The point I posted was not to you, it was to Bumpy. It was about being intimidated by somebody with a larger build. read the posts first, mate.

Where did I say "big is best"?

Wow, you're worse than I thought.

And? And? I could say that to any of the **** you've come out with. So, you're stronger than me. And?

You still haven't answered that question yourself either. You're a joke mate.

It has nothing to do with whether you think they can fight or not, having a guy twice your size standing infront of you would be intimidating, whether you like to admit it or not.

I'm a joke? It wasn't me that tried to argue a point for about 5 pages then had about 3 or 4 other people that have a clue tell me I'm completely wrong. Lol.

Anyway, this is completely off topic now and getting boring going around in circles. :hi:

Just checked out my own profile because I had a little inkling... Yep, you've been on it :nut

I'm glad you never answered the question actually, it's sort of exposed you. I'll be sure to repeat your advice elsewhere, although I may get laughed at; planches and one armed pull ups will not build power. Not at all.

Oh, and... You may have a couple of posters backing you up, jumping on your bandwagon - your arguments were off key by the way, arguing against points you thought I made - I'm happy in the knowledge that history backs me up, what with the consensus greatest boxer of all time being somewhat skinny for his weight.

Planches and one armed pullups are the greatest power building exercises known to man. Everyone knows that power doesn't come from your lower half. Geesh guys, use some common sense!

I never scrutinized your routine or why you weighed what you weighed, I just commented on some of the points you brought up on body type, and whatnot, that I addressed earlier. I don't care if you're 6ft and 140lbs! If you box successfully at that weight, good on you my friend!

I do NOT THINK big is better.

    Finest post in the thread!

It's true that my priority now is to get stronger. But that doesn't mean I ignore all other aspects, far from it! Applicable and practical, how do you mean?
And what is a static hold?

And I never said bigger is better. I'd much prefer to squat 200kg at 80kg, than squat 230kg at 90kg. I think its very impressive and everyone should make the absolute most of their bodyweight through being lean, and carrying as much muscle as possible at their desired weight, or any weight really.

How do u explain people like my wife who can eat four times as much as a man but never gains an ounce? Here is a suggestion , personal trainers should stop pretending to be boxing trainers! It happens a lot on here.

I don't think he said anything about being a boxing trainer. I, however, am a master in both areas. :D

Your wife doesn't eat 4 times as much as a man, if this man is an anorexic then maybe. I doubt she eats 8000 cals a day, and that's a small small man! Who doesn't train!

She may eat a lot for a woman's standards, probably not consistently though, because if she WAS eating a lot consistently, she is either a larger woman to start with, or she will gain weight. Don't ask me. It's science. </ron burgundy>. And if its once in a while, then nobody gains weight like that unless they have slightly serious issues.

Either way she sounds like a very lucky lady who should make the most of her metabolism and/or lifestyle choices at the moment! My girlfriend gains weight at the drop of a hat, a lot of women do.

Easy, it's bull****. If your wife consistently eats four times as much as a man, she'll be about six times as heavy as that man in no time.

I wasn't rude to you and I answered your question and now you're saying you didn't ask me, implying that I should've minded my own business. Now who's being a ****? Do you even understand what power is?
