That's interesting. I have noticed many fighters with a slouch, but have never thought that much about it, other than that it seems to manifest in more offensively-minded fighters. I'm going to try to do a little research though and see if history supports this claim.
Agreed, although stance and posture play a part. But like you say, you either have good whiskers or china ones! Unfortunately you cant change much about it I agree to an extent, standing upright with your chin out to dry aint going to do you any favours, but different fighters react differently.
History does support it: Quasimodo never got knocked out but one look at his face shows how many shots he must have taken. His posture worked as a triagulated-romboidicle-humpulator, absorbing the power from the shots. atsch
Wow, trying to raise your post count much? Says you've been here a month and already got 1533 posts.. Maybe if you post some worthwhile criticisms rather than inane remarks. I could have 1000 posts in a week too if I replied to every thread saying "This thread blows" or "this thread rocks! :thumbsup", loser.
Well, if you, or anyone, could support this with some evidence then I'd look into it. I've always thought you was born with your chin; be interesting to see if this stuff is actually true
