Julio Caesar Chavez is a moving textbook of boxing offense compared to the Philly shell, would he have exposed Floyd Jr`s Philly shell in tyhe same way thatr he exposed Roger Mayweather`s defense?

I know this maybe an unpopular opinion, but when i watched Roger Mayweather vs Julio Cesar Chavez 2 ages ago. I actually felt Mayweather was quite competitive with Chavez until he got stopped, i believe i had Mayweather only losing by a point or two up until the stoppage.

    i doubt it.

JC had problems with the better American fighters and Floyd is the best we've had in many years

Yeah, because being American is a quality a boxer can use in the ring.

Well I disagree from my memory, Mayweather certainly won rounds in the first 5 or 6 rounds.

I'm not saying Mayweather was at any point, in danger of beating Chavez.

But he certainly made a much better contest of it, compared to 1st meeting until Chavez caught up with him.

It certainly wasn't one sided in my view.

Chavez would have beaten Floyd head to head in a very competitive fight.

Yes it was a scrappy performance by Chavez, and a lot of his fights at 140 seemed laboured, like he was punching through water.
