So is pushing an opponent with the palms of your opened gloves.... who does that??? George Foreman. Bottom line to me is HOLDING is considered a violation of the rules of boxing, but it is the most tolerated foul in boxing. It also creates some of the most boring fights. I would much rather see Floyd use his forearms to create to space punch then i would watch guys wrestle on the inside, tie up, and hold.

    As James Toney said

"Dont try that **** with Michigan fighters"

A Mexican fighter will never beat a Michigan fighter. Unless its a Mexican from Michigan. A Mexican Michigan fighter would be a force of nature.

Never? So how did Chavez, a mexican fighter KO Roger Mayweather, a michigan fighter, and then made him quit on his stool with his head down in the rematch?

Haha the chicken move maneuver... Maybe the reason why Floyd jr lean on WBC so much because he's allowed to use his "forearm". If a boxer purposely use his elbow to block a punch & broke both his opponents hand does that means using elbow should get a warning atleast for excessive use? I guess the reason why most of Floyd jr's opponents stop punching or miss a lot because in they're mind their going to hit that elbow...

I haven't read the whole thread, but I find this topic fascinating.

You cannot turn you back to an opponent, so I assume you also cannot duck low & present the back of your head. Does anyone know?

ok. floyd said that the sport of boxing evolves. we used to have 15 rounds now it's 12. there wasn't osdt being implemented before the same as now, and he is proposing to implement it in all fights in the future.

as part of boxing's evolution as a sport, even if elbows, excessive ducking or holding, were loosely allowed before.. but seeing now as it got a lot of people confused as to what should be illegal or legal, maybe it's time to change or improve the rules. why is floyd allowed to call for a change but others are moronic for doing so?

Because Floyd jr proposed the ODST just to duck someone & using his chicken wings in a fight is not new to him but for a guy who claims to clean the sport who couldn't even play clean himself that just tells you how hypocrite he can be, who's confused of being a duck or a chicken but his fans will support all this for their unconditional love is like a man who loves another man who'll support you from the behind even for shouting an old man who's well respected critic of the sport.

bending below the waist should not be tolerated at all, the opponent literally cant do anything but throw an illegal punch.
it should be counted as a pretty major foul like low bows or headbutts.
