I don't understand how this is even an issue right now. Floyd has be doing this forever and people just noticed it now? Do they even watch him fight? :rofl

Plus they act like he hits you with it. A lot of times because of his shoulder roll defence, he tries to put his arm up to push off and his arm is already in the postition where a FOREARM will push you

 

From what I know ducking below the waist and usign your forearm / elbow for anything other then blocking punches is illegal. But no one said this is a clean sport.

 

One thing to note, the only time I know that Floyd lost a point for it was his first fight with Castillo and Castillo had no trouble finding Mayweather after that. Coincidence?

 

Floyd does use his elbows to block... Fighters run into him while his elbows are up or he's raising them.. Not an issue to me.. If boxers don't like him doing it and getting away with it, do it yourself. If you get penalized Floyd would have to too, and if he doesn't THEN you have a case.. Team Ortiz told Cortez before the fight about the elbows, and Floyd was warned by Cortez by an elbow as he was looking for them. People blow it up WAY bigger than it is..

As far as ducking down below the waist, I don't think it's illegal.. I've heard it's illegal to continue doing it, but I don't think Floyd does it enough in a bout to get penalized for it... Can someone post a link with the actual RULES stating he can't do it instead of making an assumption just to ***** about him?
