How Legit is "The Ring" anymore?

For me it's just a fifth title.

It's not even that upto date with linearity anymore.

So yeah it's no less credible than the other belts, but it is certainly not the be all and end all.

 

Ever since Golden Boy bought it... Its irrelevant IMO

Imagine Bob Arum or Don King bought it? People would be up in armsatsch

 

the mag and their belts are good the website lately has become a bit of gbp informerical.their mag is the best boxing magazine.Anyone who claims their belt isn't the legit belt or less credible then the abc belts needs a lobotomy

If you are talking about the title? Titles are not that important anymore it seems. With Manny agreeing to fighting guys who are champs below weight to weaken them and so many titles, it is not that important anymore, and titles should be important. As for the magazine ring since I thought about it. I still have all my ring magazine and ko magazines from the 1980's to early 1990's. After that I stopped buying them. Ring was ok, but I loved KO with the interview.
