How likely is a Mayweather/Matty Hatton fight?

    To my total despair and disbelief, my idol Floyd Mayweather Jr's name has been thrown about for a fight with Matthew Hatton!

    All I'm reading are rumours, how true is it and how likely is it to happen?

    We all know Floyd wants to fight over here in the UK (and I'd love to see it) but against Hatton...Hatton isn't even the best Welterweight in the UK (I rate Jennings and Kell Brook way more highly).

    Please Floyd don't let it be true.

    Anyone who even thinks this is a possibility is very very very gullable.

    Firstyly Floyd is going after the big fish.

    Matthew Hatton isnt even known in the UK so how is that supposed to generate any real revenue.

    If Floyd wanted to fight in the UK he could easily arrange a big name opponent to do it with such as Khan. Although Warren would never allow that and who'd even want to see that.

    Back to the drawing board with this thread..............

    Floyd ain't that crazy. He knows if this Pac fight somehow falls apart he'll need take on a ranked welter. He's not gonna have two tuneups. Even if it's not his fault that negotiations fail, he'll have to take something bigger than this.
