How likely is Hopkins to stop Pavlik?

There is very good chance of seeing B-Hop not allowed to get off his stool after the 10th or 11th rounds

 

How is Hopkins going to sustain an assault down the stretch? The pace he maintained in the Calzaghe fight was pretty pedestrian and he was still ****ed going into the later rounds.

Seems to me you've looked at the odds for a Hopkins KO, liked them and THEN analysed the fight.....

 

Hopkins is pretty dangerous firing back on the counter-move but he is especially smart making them miss and chase him to no effect. Kelly Pavlik is a true power puncher but he says he is aware Hopkins is dangerous so that means he's not exposing himself too much either. Kelly should bet all on running numbers on Hopkins and not getting involved too much and that makes it difficult for Hopkins to hurt him bad since he's a defensive fighter, can't fight consistently on offense these days and Pavlik will not look that much for the fight either.

I'll say 10 % chance.

Even if Bhops hits Pav with a solid one punch . . . Pav will stand up and Bhops doesn't have the stamina to finish the guy off . . . just like Taylor did.

 

I'd say Pavlik has about 10% chance of knocking out B-Hop.

And vice versa :blood
