A long time. Far too risky a fight at this stage.

Think he might wait til Lindsay moves on because he's not the typical guy you'd meet for the British title. He's got some class about him, even for a guy like Smith his counterpunching is going to be tricky and possibly a styles disadavantage for Smith.

Smith needs to fight a few better top 10 opponents anyway before jumping in there head first. I like him as a talent but we have to be sensible about it, and by the time he's ready Lindsay might be past that level.

Winner of the Lindsay Vs Simpson fight should move on even the loser of the fight should move on to Euro level.

although lindsay is a class operator, i think he is more than beatable.

imo, he is too predictable!! every shot he throws is a hook and he always moves forwards and backwards, never to the side, so i think if you really get at him like simpson will then it will take him well out of his comfort zone. maybe a fighter like swifty will be suited to a fighter like lindsay... i think so anyway, so maybe it could be a fight FW would push for!! :think

In this day and age that's not a British Title fight unfortunately.

Fair opinion mate, either way its too early for Steven Smith to be in with either. Hes got plenty of time to get up to their level and I believe he will, just not in the next 12 months.

i honestly dont see what else lindsay has to offer personally. he never goes to the body, he never moves his head, all his best shots are hooks... i do like him but i think a good pressure fighter with a half descent defense can beat him. thats why im goin for simpson to beat him ;)
