    Lara himself was breaking into many peoples P4P list. He was unquestioned king of 154 for the last few years. Decorated amateur, slick, Cuban , southpaw.

    And Hurd beat the breaks off him.

    He'll never get there. He's fun to watch and he'll beat Charlo but unless he refines his style he's going to be in for a rude awakening at 160.

    News to me. Being #1 rated on The Ring's 154 list (while the 'C' spot sits vacant) isn't the same thing.

    Unquestionable credentials. I won't even mention that he isn't really slick (oh, whoops).

    Close enough, and Amen to that.

    He will never get into p4p list b/c the moment he fights people his own size he gets beat. He's oversized for his division. I hope Jermell Baptizes him.

    Hurd is a 154 pound version of Cheeser Chavez Jr circa 2010 -2012. Only a matter of time before he gets Martinez'd.

    NEVER I refuse to put someone in the P4P that llooks about 2-3 weight classes bigger then he fights in... its the same with Robert easter jr.. hurd at 154 is stupid.. he looks like a 168-175 ffs..

    Not sure Hurd "beat the brakes off" Lara, as you say. Wouldn't say that at all.

    Lara wasn't in my top 10. And he just squeaked by him. P4P talk with Hurd? Absolutely slow the role. Not close yet. Who knows what he goes on to do, lets wait and see.

    Beating Jermell won’t get him on the list, even tho he’d have 3 titles.

    Due to his size, we have to see him at 160

    Disagree imo. Lots of fighters on peoples P4P lists have only done it in one division. GGG, Kovalev, Spence etc. So even at his size, his accomplishments in one division should be enough to get him on the list, especially if he beats Jermell (although I think Jermell stops him)
