I agree with this, it's needs to happen next year or not at all. At this point both guys are past their primes and there not going to get any better.

Every birthday reduces the intrigue by about 20%. So, in 2 years, 80% of the intrigue will be lost.

Pacquiao's been in a lot of hard fights, and fighters with his style usually are shot when they reach the age of 31-32. It's a miracle he's still in his prime today.

The fight needs to happen soon, or else the result will be obvious (Floyd wins, probably by KO).

Whoever voted anything other than 1-2 yrs needs there head checked... they are usually the same people that are happy with pac v Margarito or Bradley & floyd v Ortiz or Khan.... they will be too old VERY soon & will only ruin it for themselves if it does not happen immediately after pac-JMM aka in the 1st half of 2012.

I agree - tho I see no decline yet, both still look great IMO, a class above everyone else except each other.... they are risking the winner not receiving full credit if they don`t fight next tho, all it takes is 1 below par performance from either guy & the fight will lose a HUGE chunk of what would make it special, especially if the winner is NOT the guy the put in the previous bad performance... past prime, shot, on the slide, blah blah ****in blah.....

I`ll root for pacquiao ONE LAST TIME vs Marquez & hope he wins in style but if the next fight for either floyd or pac is anything but vs each other, I`m done with both guys for good & will never utter their name when discussing great fightes because they don`t deserve a hot runny **** if they refuse us this fight !

Only for people who ever thought it would have been competitive.

I honestly think Pacquiao has a good chance against Mayweather. Styles make fights. Hatton and ODLH both suck against southpaws that's why they were destroyed. Mayweather, although a lot better than Marquez is rubbish against southpaws too.

Also Marquez was in better shape for this one. I'm not making excuses because I'm not bothered who wins.

Tell me though, if it's so obvious why has Mayweather demanded the testing.

I still think it's been ruined for the hardcore fans to some extent.

Lost its luster. Pac has proven to be the fraud I knew he was.

    :thumbsup

It would never be competitive. Floyd too much to handle and I'm staying with the notion of wanting Martinez/Floyd instead.

:huh Based on what? He destroyed Judah after he adapted to his speed and Ortiz was a cake walk for him. After getting caught by Corley he turned into a "dragon" and spit out "fireballs" thoroughly outclassing him. Also, DLH and Hatton had weight problems against Pacquiao while DLH was done too. DLH did well against Pernell imo.
