How long before Mayweather vs. Pacquiao is no longer a super fight!

Right so Mayweather didn't get hit by a LOT more flush shots than usual against both Judah and Ortiz. The Ortiz KO was bull **** and the fight had been 50/50 up to then imo, Mayweather was certainly at least made to work hard against a far inferior southpaw to Pac. Also if you look at Mayweather - Hatton, Hatton was able to give Mayweather a lot of trouble by forcing him back with his pressure and foot speed. Pacquiao has the foot speed of Hatton along with better angles, more power, better stamina, better chin and possibly slightly better hand speed too, so you should expect to see Mayweather have all of those same problems he had against Hatton (don't say he had none) + more.

I was one of the only one to predict that Marquez would still give Pac hell, so I think am entitled to my opinion on this.
If you look at some of Pac's most dominant wins against top opposition:
slightly past it Barrea - Useless against southpaws, was a natural left hander who are known to suck against southpaws. still got robbed against Marquez not long after this.
past it ODLH - Useless against southpaws, was a natural left hander who are known to suck against southpaws. Also had to cut a lot of weight which weakend him but still gave Mayweather a really tough fight less than a year eariler and dominated Forbes more than Berto could.
slightly past it Hatton - Was kept away from southpaws his whole career, got dropped by Magee, hurt by Collazo but still gave Mayweather problems.
Cotto - Hates pressure. Fights a lot like Mayweather but has more power and less speed and brains. Tottally class performance by Pacquiao, but again Cotto hates pressure.

Now Marquez, is a naturaly great counter puncher who is very good against southpaws and doesn't fear a brawl as much as Mayweather does. That's why he will always give Pacquiao hell but against Mayweather who was faster than him, has longer reach and stays on the outside he was only able to win 3 rounds or so because he isn't used to pushing the fight. Marquez also came into the Pacquiao fight in better shape imo.

There's the thread where I said that Pac would have to still go through hell to beat Marquez. For the record, I would probably favour Mayweather to win by SD at this stage. Pacquiao is a still out of his prime now, Floyd is as well and has stalled this fight until now to make it more even imo.

 

No I'm not, I saw both fights. De La Hoya won almost every round against Forbes. Forbes gave Berto a competative fight.

 

Oscar fought Forbes only months after Mayweather at 150, his eye was blacked up but he still dominated. The main stumbling block for Orcar was that he had no right hand against Pac. And yes PBF and Cotto fight in a pretty similar way.
