How long could a SMW like Froch last against a CW?

Just a hypothetical of course. But does size matter less and less as you move up in weight? Somebody on this thread seriously just suggested that Floyd could defeat Ward and Froch....

If a guy like Margarito were to fight Froch he would be lucky to see round 3 in my opinion.

How long do you think Froch could handle a guy like Huck or Lebedev before getting KO'ed?

This only applies to heavyweights who are used to large weight differences. As much as I like Floyd he gets destroyed by elite 168 fighters. Floyd at 147 and 154 almost always had a reach advantage and has respectable power. At 168 Floyd would still have a decent reach, but he would have no power to keep from being run over.

I think Froch could last 3 rounds with the top CW's.

I guess it depends which CW, if it someone you mention like Huck or Lebedev who are strong CWs then I doubt more than a round or two.

    Froch felt LHWs were big

It wouldn't be pleasant! Eubank Sr did it, stepped up to face Carl Thompson, brutal!
