Although he wasn't knocked out, he took some mean shots in there and was almost knocked out multiple times. I think most other 147'ers out there would have been knocked out tonight. + He said in his interview that he got a concussion since very early in the fight and he was STILL dizzy while doing the interview. Maybe a year? 6 months?
A year is too long and he'd get rusty. 6 months is reasonable unless he comes back against a soft puncher for a tuneup (which he should do before fighting someone like Marquez).
he better head to the hospital, get an mri and sit out for at least another 8 or 9 months. He was pulling a mini James Toney in the post fight interview. That's not good. This fight was way more draining then getting sparked cold.
he should see a doctor as quickly as possible after taking those kind of punches, who will decide how long Timmy should take off
September: Go up AGAINST GBP's PPV JMM BRADLEY PACQUIAO-Rios/Alvarado winner. Ruslan- Rios/Alvarado loser.
A minimum of 6 months. Zero contact during that time. If he fought with a concussion that whole fight... bad, bad news. Ask NFL/NHL players about that. Playing (and taking more punishment) during a concussed state leads to serious long-term problems. Bradley shouldn't even be in the gym for at least 6 months.
The standard 90 days. come back in the fall after a good training camp against anyone not named Providnikov.
He took the same type of punishment, if not more punishment than JuanMa got from Salido. This is a career ending fight for most fighters. Bradley isn't your ordinary fighter though. He is so well conditioned that his ability to fight will push him into too many years of boxing and he will end up severely damaged. I hope he considers retirement.
His next fight will most likely be a big one, probably 6-8 months from now. He'll take a month off, maybe no sparring for another month, and be back to normal.
