He was beaten up and quit vs a circa 2000 Mike Tyson. How long could he make it against the Tyson of 1988.

One or two rounds. Golota had some talent but he was there to be hit.

Golota was pretty good when he could dictate the pace and fight from range, but that wouldn't happen here. Tyson gets him out of his comfort zone very quickly, and Golota is likely gone before he ever really gets into a rhythm. I'd go Tyson within 4. Mike was all wrong for Golota.

2000 Tyson vs Golota was a bit of an aberration right? Like Bowe could punch, Golota wore them alright and it was some injury beyond concussive like structural? Eye socket? I don’t remember… anyways I think that Golota vs 2000 Tyson should’ve been a good fight lol now it’s trotted out to show how much he had left when it seemed like a freak situation, 88 Tyson mauls him.

What ? Tyson literally stopped in the 2nd round in 2000. Golota probably wouldn't do better than that

Bit of a freak shot thought wasn’t it? In 2000, I’m positive it was some injury to the back? Eye socket? Something like that and Golota quit rightfully so.

We've already seen a far past prime Mike Tyson dismantle Golota quick enough.

I really can’t see a scenario where Andrew Golota would be very effective against Mike Tyson unless he were dealing with a very old and deteriorated version. But in 1988 ? Golata probably lasts about as long as Spinks did.

It could very well be KO1. Samson P'ouha had Golota in all kinds of trouble, and Golota has shown in other fights that he could be taken out early. Getting out of the 1st round would be quite a challenge for him here...

I expected lot tougher fights from both men against Lewis.
Hell I even thought Ruddock was gonna beat Lennox.
