How long does prime Tommy Morrison last against Joe Louis?

Maybe the version of Tommy from the Foreman fight fares a bit better, but he did not do well against anybody who came at him with a good jab. He got his ass whooped by Williams and Vaulin before he scored stoppages on both of em, and I don't reckon that Louis is the type to lose Morrison.

 

Just your average ‘Louis goes down, gets back up and beats the ever-loving **** out of his opponent’ type matchup with Louis

 

Did Galento have a better left hook than Morrison?

 

Comparable.

 

You have to remember that Morrison can't take PEDs in '41. Louis and fairly easily.

 

Tommy will get the absolute merde beat out of him in 5 or less.

 

With that chin he might lose to Jerry Lewis, never mind Joe.

 

When it comes to the left hook I feel like Morrison is more like 1.75 ton

 

Joe Louis is charged with manslaughter...

 

Boy, that might be a good fight while it lasts but I see it being a bloodbath at the end.

I see Morrison getting bounced off the floor to Rocky extremes. I'll go out on a limb and say Morrison rocks Louis early but by the 7th round he's already been down four times and he has a gash over his left eye. A vicious right hand puts half-blind Morrison away.

 

That sounds about right.
I don't think Tommy gets blown out fast like some believe, only Bentt did that and Morrison no doubt took him lightly.
He could very well hurt Louis, Joe was put down by Braddock after all.
But Louis has the last word.

 

Joe was just too good.
