No longer than it takes George to eat a cheeseburger.

    Defo a laugher.

Two Ton Tony G couldn't hit any harder than Smokin Joe Frazier and had no defense. Look what happened to Philly Joe. Two Ton would have wound up in far worse shape as the only way he could stop a punch was with his jaw.

Galento fought to hurt and ko opponents rather than any of that fancy dan stuff, i however think Mr George Foreman could do that better.

The only things Galento had proven he was better at than Foreman was, his 'moidering' of the English language, and his disregard for fighting within the rule book , though i would say Mr Foreman might well meet fire with fire if Galento wanted a dirty fight.

When Foreman fought, he always had a mean look on his face.

Early night for Big George. Tony's style plays right into George's strengths. I see George taking Tony out before the latter can get started.

Just because Frazier was better does not mean he could hit as hard.
He could not. Galento had elite power, Frazier very good but better at overall game, volume, combinations endurance...
But Tony was very explosive & just in measureable power; greater.

In all my many years of watching pro boxing (starting some time in the late 1950s), I do not recall anyone equating Two Ton Tony with the likes of a Frazier. While ratings vary, in this listing Frazier ranks #21 where Galento ranks #149:

In the following Ring Magazine listing among hardest hitters of all time, Frazier ranks #39. Galento doesn't even reach the top 100:

I have never read any source that would affirm your statement. But if you have any source which does, kindly post it here.

I respect your acquired knowledge & years of experience.
Yet anything about quality, skill & any ranking save pure power is irrelevant to e verything I took pains to say.
Again of course Frazier is much better than Two Ton.

But even "best punchers" is different from what is a line from a Rocky movie "Pure Blunt Force Trauma".
Puncher i a skill that involves not just power, but accuracy. Conbinations. Speed. Volume.

As an example, Tyson hit very hard.
But a bunch of people from his era hit harder-although a very small percentage.
A few he sought 5X in all-Bonecrusher/hugger, Ruddock & Bruno. For single shots.

Tyson would not deny it, for all his faults he is a modest student of boxing history.
None of them was as GOOD a puncher as him though!

I would be surprised if Louis-of asked-would say he hit as hard as Galento-although even he is not so humble to say he was notg (much) better!
