 at the Brits defending Haye no matter what. I didn't even know these facts but now that I know, of course that WBA is a joke. It's politics, they want to keep one belt outside of K'bros even if it's not fair cause it's supposed to keep the division exciting, easy to see..

IMO Chagaev beat Valuev more convincingly than Haye. So far, it's not just the Klitschkos, to me Haye clearly wants no part of the likes of Chagaev, Povetkin or Boytsov so far. He knows they're not lumbering Valuev.

Even if so - it's the only Haye's belt so he ISN'T A CHAMPION AT ALL. But he's made to be by boxing politics.

So if Haye wouldn’t defend his belt, against a single mandatory challenger for two years, you wouldn’t call him to be stripped for the belt. :think

It’s obvious that constantly injuring Chagaev, was rightly stripped for the belt.

If Wlad would have fought against Valuev and Haye against Chagaev, all of this hypocrite K2 fans, would see it that way too.

But he is the RING champ, so he is THE champ.

Of course he did, he beat a better version of Valuev, and he didn't have to run like a little ***** either. Neither did Ruiz or Holyfield.

How people can have Haye ranked #3 heavyweight - in front of Chagaev - just goes to show how gullible people are.

Somebody needs to beat Lewis for the WBA belt on the above criteria.

Chageav was the mandatory for Valuev. The fight was set and Valuev refuses to fight Chagaev!

The Haye/Valuev fight was one of the most disgraceful fights I have ever seen. Haye didn't even want to fight. How do you show up for a fight and throw 11.9 punches a round and back-peddle the whole time? I could not even score the fight it was so bad with such little action.

Don't make like Chagaev was stripped of his belt for inactivity. :nono Chagaev still had the WBA belt until he said he'd step in for the supposedly injured Haye & fight for unification against Wladimir.

You clowns are defending the WBA's actions which are part of the problem AS TO WHY BOXING ISN'T AS POPULAR AS IT ONCE WAS. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

Haye prancing around in Wlad's belt is like my girlfriend wearing my shirts at home while I'm at work.

We both know that when I get home, she's getting the business and I'm doing what I please with that shirt.

Yes he was. Year before he fought Wladimir he was suppose to defend his belt against Valuev. He injured himself again and canceled the fight with his mandatory Valuev, for the second time. Before that fight he had long layoff because his blood disease and couldn’t fight against anyone.

Then WBA stripped him, gave him a champion in recess position, which he could use to instantly getting a title shot when he is healthy and made Valuev vs. Ruiz for vacated title.

Valuev won that match and became new champion. Defended it against Holyfield and lost it against Haye.

You really should pay attention to entire division instead of just Klitchkos

He had champion in recess status nothing else, which he lost when he challenged champion of a different organization.

Real WBA champion at that time was Valuev and had been for some time.

I’m not normally defending ABC organizations, but stripping champion, who can’t defend his belt against anyone was definitely a right call.

You would probably agree with me, if it didn’t concern Wladimirs status as a “real WBA champ"
