Alex Arthur is critical of Mitchell moving up when he is number 1 WBO SFW. Mitchell must be struggling to move up at this stage.

The fight Iwould have preferred over Prescott would have been v Murrey for the british LW title

Struggling since he increased his caloric intake, hasn't grown an extra appendage that stops him from making weight.

Does he really struggle or is he just moving up to get some decent fights etc, Mitchell has been over shadowed by Khan etc in recent years.

He been struggling for years he told me.. It was becoming unbearable and it must have been too cos it was a done deal for him to fight Martinez too!! I also think he respected the challenge that Ricky Burns represented and thought that it was a fight he could lose if he turned up not 100%... :good

Burns should be given a shot at Martinez now who I feel is a very beatable champion..;)

I just feel he is vunerable at the weight mate to be honest.. I think he struggles to make weight and was also badly hurt against Cook before coming back in fantastic fashion, Let's not forget Cook isn't the biggest puncher either..

Good point! Hopefully with Burns work rate he can tire him out down the stretch if Martinez is tight at the weight :good

Arthur is hardly one to be critical about gaining weight. he is going to light welterweight.

Mitchell said on the Bunce show last year that he was really comfortable to Super Feather, I guess the lay off changed all that.

I doubt he'd move up unless he needed to. It'd be easier to win a title at SFW rather than LW.

Thats why Khan moved up to LWW, easier route to a title.
