For the first time ever, i noticed that ESPN's Friday Night Fights was LIVE on ESPN 2 (featuring Arreola) on Foxtel. Was this the first time there has been no week's delay or am i just a bit slow? BTW, the boxing telecast was shown about 45 minutes into the program because of some crap ladies baseball or softball game..
There is something seriously wrong with that channel. I'm sure that they have some Simian throwback that's had access to a Box Brownie doing the programming. Some of their fill-ins last for 10-12 minutes. I was watching a fight night some time ago & they switched to cycling. They took as half way to ****en Spain or somewhere before I switched over. During the break on the other channel (Some 20 minutes later) I hit the "back" button & the fight was in the last round. They're nuts. Got some redemption on Friday night though. Showed the Gatti V Robinson duet. ESPN = Endless Self Promotional Nag-ads
If it didn't have the champions league football i'd never watch it either but if their going to put the friday night fights on live that's a good thing.
stumbled across this as well before watching my saturday horse racing..... the womens soft ball game was pissing me off, switch off and forgot to switch back on.
Checking next week's ESPN schedule - NO live boxing. They are showing the Arreola fight on the Friday night (ie: a week's delay) - no boxing scheduled for Saturday (live) morning. SUX.
