consistently (addicted) only since 2009/2010? Can't remember...precisely (Only 4-5 years) First got excited and interested in it while watching an exciting Khan Olympics fight when I was a kid. Didn't understand the sport fully and didn't follow it at that point (didn't know about pro/amateur etc) ...Then a few years later I managed to catch a free pro Khan fight on Channel 5 probably sometime around 2007/2008 before he went over to Roach. Continued to keep aware of his progress then finally was awoken to the full picture of the boxing scene over in 'murica (making me get up for 4am fights). I'm very lucky to have managed to get hooked to this sport it's very hard to get into & follow initially. Pretty sure i'll die watching it.
I have been watching boxing from the cradle . . . my earliest memory was SRL gold medal in Montreal when i was 4. the whole neighborhood came to my house to watch the tournament finals. only time i can remember anyone caring about the AMs mainly because it was in Canada
It was around 1990 when I became old enough to fully comprehend the rules of sports. And that was when the NFL, NBA, and boxing became my favorite past time. So yeah, I've been following boxing for 20+ years now.
When Tyson lost his fight against Buster, the neighbor told my dad the news the following morning and I remember being so sad. I was 8. Now I'm 31 with a lot of white hair, love the sport of boxing but hate the injustice that has been part of the business.
