Seriously this guy has one good win fought like 5 bums old shot never was bums no less and now he's not changing the script and is signed to fight Nagy Aguilera. Few more guys like that and cash out again against Wlad? Or does he try for Povetkin first? Adamek's heavyweight career has been a complete joke and it looks to only get worse.
I agree. but a rematch with arreola now would actually make sense. but adamek will never be a real threat as a heavyweight.
ya adamek hasnt done a whole lot, and it would be nice to see him focusing on his fellow contenders, and he def needs to be dropped down further in division rankings, but theres a lot of other guys within the top 10 (arreola, dimitrenko, boytsov, to name a few) who are right there with him.... Actually, for someone like Arreola, its even worse. While most people view adamek as a spent force within the division after getting beat up by Vitali and seeing that he is quite obviously out of his weightclass, and I think most real fans take adamek at heavyweight with a grain of salt, we know that hes not a force within the division, Arreola on the other hand is on an active campaign to fight Wlad and is actually looked at by fans as one of the players within the division.... when hes done nothing (as in.... less then adamek) and actually lost to adamek. But anyways, all my point is Adamek is far from the only one in the top 10 whos resume is lacking, and at least he beat a top 10 guy to earn his shot. Others (like Arreola) seem content to try and beat up nobodies and no hopers to earn theirs. So if adameks heavyweight campaign has been a joke, I dont know what the other half of the top 10 just about have been. But I do see your point, he needs to step up, but on the other hand, as long as hes not challenging for a title, it doesnt bother me to much. I dont view him as a real player in the division.
no one can get a shot a top 10 contenders these days, they will never ****ing think about fighting each other...so if you can lose 4 out of 6 fights then securing a fight against a top 10 guy doesnt seem too tough
considering povetkin beats huck, it's not like povetkin's gonna jump at a klitschko clash, and I wouldn't be surprised if wladimir and vitali's next opponents after the mormeck fight are either haye, chisora or arreola, so who the hell does it make sense for povetkin to fight? denis boytsov? other guys that don't bring in as much cash as adamek?
I agree but a lot of people before the Vitaly fight thought Adamek is a force at heavy and most klit fans still try and say he is.
Yep... heres the quick summary of your post... Adamek not tested amongst top 10 HWs Top 10 not talented Adamek underrated Arreola overrated
Since I have been a member here, that is how ESB is. "Look, there is a wagon, jump on before it is too late". The next thing you will here is that Adamek is shot. The HW division is horrible and some are grasping at straws to make any sense that the weight division has any threats out there to beat either K brother. I believe once the K brothers are gone, then you are going to see all the so called contenders scrambling to fight each other to get a hold of one of the belts.
