I know he isn't the best skilled boxer, Taylor is one of the most skilled in the division, but he didn't have heart, that is a big factor in boxing, you can see that from the ATG's (not comparing him to an ATG) chin is important as well, as for it being luck you or I can't say for sure, this is boxing as you know ANYTHING can happen.

Regardless of his skill you should get behind him and show him your support, he is the only British world champ, that's got to mean something.

Maybe he will be out class in his next fight by a top name, but at least you could never say there was a boring fight with Froch!

Taylor sucked me in with his talk of his love and re-dedication to the sport being back. Froch has admitted he was getting pounded early because Taylor was picking him apart and he had to wait for Taylor to gas. Yet Froch's fans say he was tense to start and began to break Taylor down. Oh well. Hope you don't get burned at the stake over there. :D

    Can we ban this clown?

Any half-witted boxing fan knows SMW is one of the absolutely deepest divisions in boxing today. Which is why we want to see some unifications take place with all the talent and possible match-ups that are possible.

Do you ****in' guys even follow boxing? Taylor was HIS MANDATORY and a career high payday. His choice was fight Taylor or vacate his title, and go back to fighting no-hopers in small venues for small paydays. He made the right choice, but it wasn't exactly rocket science, nor did it require much courage!

Taylor was the mandatory, true, but he wanted no part of the fight.

It was only when Froch called him out, chased him down and agreed to give up all the advantages even though he was the champ, that Taylor agreed to take it.

As for it being a career high payday, that would've been the case pretty much regardless of who he fought as he's a belt holder and held a higher profile prior to his first defence than at any other point in his career; the pay was always likely to reflect that.

He could quite easily have fought a nobody at home as many have done, but he didn't, he crossed the pond and defended it against a former linear titlist. If that's not a show of balls, I don't know what is.

Don't even try to deny for a second, that if Pavlik were to fight Abraham in Germany now, let alone for his first defence, you wouldn't be praising him as a risk taker and a man more concerned about legacy than money etc etc.

Why bring Pavlik up? There is absolutley no comparison between the two cases. Abraham holds a title THAT TAYLOR VACATED because he did not want to fight the IBF's shitty mandatories.

Froch chased Taylor down? That is plain ridiuclous. The fight was NEVER at anytime in doubt. Hopkins X 2, Winky Wright, and Pavlik X 2, but he ran from Froch. Give me a ****ing break:patsch

You only have to be 15 seconds better than Taylor to beat Froch:bananamaniac

168 shouldnt even exist 160 and 175 is were the elite go. 168 is a refuge where the mediocre pad and make defenses and carve out little careers.

Its like if Lacy had moved 175 instead and Taylor stayed at 160 they would have been "elite" today!
