How long will it take for John Ruiz to be WBA mandatory again?

    They could create a further belt - WBA Champion in Defeat

    It would be very lucrative in that they would get sanctioning fees from both fighters in their next fights

    As much as I hate the WBA, I'll say this. Ruiz stayed a mando because his fights with the champ were so...inconclusive, I think. But we don't have that problem anymore and thank you, David, for that.

    If Haye will be elevated to the super WBA champion then after this
    brave performance Ruiz will have guaranteed shot at the regular WBA belt ..
