How Long Would Andrea Dirrell last with Joe Calzaghe?

What a load of rubbish. Lets remember that Lacy, Mitchell, Eubank, Kessler, and Veit were more accomplished SMWs than Dirrell and thats not all on Calzaghes resume that are more accomplished than Dirrell and they all lost. Dirrell couldnt get past the limited Froch. Calzaghe would beat him very easily. I doubt Dirrell would be fighting back

Joe has fought 2 opponents at Dirrells level or higher. Kessler and old B-Hop. Old B-Hop who's style is more similar to Dirrells than Kessler's is gave Joe all he could handle and won a close decision in many peoples opinions so yeah Joe would have trouble with younger/faster/more powerful Dirrell. Joe would most likely win a close decision though but you're shitting yourselves if you think it's a breeze.

 

Dirrells level . You think Dirrell who has no major wins is the same level as Hopkins or 2 time WBC and 2 time WBA champ Kessler.

If Dirrell didn't panic in the ring and better footwork I would favor him over Calzaghe but he doesn't. Calz by UD but he would be the third best fighter Calzaghe would face representing where they were/are in their careers under Kessler(Bhop though I consider that a win for Hopkins, Kessler, then Dirrell). It would be interesting to see what Dirrell will do if he fights again as long as he has focus and doesn't have panic attacks in the ring. He has talent but poor footwork, questionable heart, and is too negative. I usually don't mind passive fighters just as long as they have a high ring IQ but Dirrell is too negative for my likings. His AA performance was great until the DQ but he should've pressed the Froch fight a bit more though I felt he won that and landed the much more effective punches despite having a low workrate. Calz would beat Dirrell(well the Dirrell we know now) but it wouldn't be a walk in the park for him.
