Just because you don't like the truth, it doesn't mean that it isn't true.
The man with 35 pro fights wasn't anything but green, Tim Whiterspoon fought Holmes in less than half of that number of fights.

But he quit twice and blinded multiple oponents which means that he has no heart at all, only hw champion that quit that way.
Yet Marciano beat more HOFamers unlike Listom who's best win was one HOFamer but not ATG Patterson and one slugger with no chin like Williams.
Marciano didn't have weight and height advantage like Liston yet he retired undefeated fighting mostly bigger men unlike Liston who fought only smaller guys.

Yes he was, the same year he beat Joe Louis.

Moore didn't have any experience and fought to eat and survive like Dempsey did.

    Stupid?
What's the number of the fights Frazier had when beat Ali?
What's the number of fights Ali had when beat Liston or Foreman when beat Frazier?
    Were they green too?

You proved that you yourself are the worst poster here.

Your statement was, anyone with 35 fights is prime and it is just absurd. I gave examples of fighters with 35 fights such as
    Langford
    Moore
    Greb
    Marciano
That prove just how ludicrous you statement is.
"Moore didn't have any experience "
    Your statement.
Moore had had 35 fights, the same number as Williams, you blow a hole in your own argument!

Fighters mature at different rates, and reach their peak at different times , just as they age at different rates .
There is no benchmark figure, that can be universally applied to them.
Wear and tear, hard fights ,the individual style of a fighter.all factor heavily .
Tom Sharkey was washed up at 29.Joe Frazier was diminished at the same age.Ali was just about to begin the second phase of his career at that age.
Jack Johnson and Jack O Brien were contemporaries but O Brien was going slightly down hill when they met whereas Johnson was in his prime.
Louis and Walcott were also contemporaries, but Louis was in decline and Walcott was at his best.
To call you an idiot would be a compliment to you! [/QUOTE]

took 5"10 180lb Bob Satterfield 3 rounds vs a 31-1 BC, Rocky started a bit slower, but he would test Big Cat early and open the cracks- Marciano by KO probably 4-6 rounds but depending on how aggressive Big Cat starts

Did Moore had any amateur experience?
    He didn't.

As you say there's no benchmark, Williams was in his prime maybe not at his 100% best but he was in shape, he reached physical prime and had enough fights to call himself experienced.

    Moore fought amateur.
Williams hadn't reached either his physical prime. or his prime as a boxer, and you are the only one contesting this!

He reached his prime because he was already big and developed man, and he was in his prime with over 30 pro fights, yes he was in his prime losing against 25 pounds lighter man who was also 2 inches shorter and had few inches shorter reach.

Despite my apology via PM, it suddenly came to me, that it's in better taste to apologize publicly for my disrespectful comment directed towards you and my lack of awareness (Not sure how I missed you were merely joking around in your comment). I admittedly don't agree with you very much when it comes to boxing nor politics (Truth be told I'm still mad you ****ers took the win on Election day ) but I very much enjoy reading yours posts, and you get extra points for having the best grandfather ever. :D

Good grief Seamus… Liston and Terrell are among the least athletic fighters you could draw from… I think that’s your point right? Liston was lumbering, slow and threw hard with the arms and Ernie? ERNIE? lol.

Few realise what a punch can mean… a body shot from a middleweight with the right placement can stop anybody a good punch with all the right things happening can stop anybody it isn’t who ya stopped or ya knockout number but how you got them look at Buddy McGirt he didn’t have too hard a punch but look at his stoppages.
