Prime to Prime Patterson vs George.
Whatever year you think was his prime, that George.

Floyd may last longer than he did against Liston, but not much longer.
Round 2 at most. Fraser 1 and Norton did not make it past the second round; neither would Patterson.

He wouldn't make it past the first.

Not long unfortunately, more than likely it's Liston fight 3.

Love Floyd so I'll give him 2 rounds. I think the 88-92 version on Foreman may get to him eventually, but the fight goes longer. Some of the shots he hit Holyfield and Stewart with would finish Patterson

If Jimmy Young could deck and beat George Foreman in 1977...Floyd has no chance?...

Like Swag and Jake, I see very little chance of him surviving the first two stanzas. Even if his plan at the outset was to stick and move, that style was alien to him. George would look for the kayo from the opening bell and Floyd hadn't the strength to ward him off.

Patterson lasts about as long as a bowl of ice cream on the sidewalk in Saudi Arabia.

He lasts about as long as a rabbit in the cage of a hungry tiger.

He lasts about as long as a nervous virgin teenager sticking it inside the hottest chick in his school.

I’ve been talking up Floyd on this forum but as I said yesterday with Liston-Frazier, AI couldn’t produce a worse matchup for Floyd. His speed might get him to the 2nd round but the second George cuts the ring off on him and traps him, it’s over.

Who would be a worse opponent for Floyd Patterson...1974 George Foreman or 1988 Mike Tyson?

You're basically giving me a strychnine vs. arsenic choice there ...
