Even if he paid all the sanctioning bodies a sanction fee how long would it take for a boxer that held the IBF,WBC,WBA all at the same time to be stripped.

(Is it possible in this day age to hold all three belts at the same time for a number of years like a 7 year time frame without being stripped provinding that you pay a sanctioning fee)

I would really like to know, thanks.

If the boxer has charisma proper backing until heloses them in the ring.

Hopkins kept every title he won until he lost.

You have to make mandatory defenses. Usually within one year for every belt, so if you didnt defend it within a year you would be stripped.

Yes, he would have to make three mandatory defenses in a year, and not suffer any injures to avoid being stripped.

Most champions often avoid the best challenger out there to keep his belt, hiding behind the rankings of some alphabet organizations and collecting sanctioning fees from the fighter's management.

This is why boxing almost never has a unified champion.

An injured champion generally gets to keep his belt now. They just give out another one to a mini-champ with a view to the two having a fight when the "real" champ is better. Real champ as in, that governing bodies champion.

Hagler's pedigree was such that no sanctioning body ever considered following through on a threat to strip him of recognition. (World Bananarepublicboxing Council President Jose Suckamain actually publicly admitted that, "Nobody would ever consider anybody but Hagler to be the champion anyway.") Tyson enjoyed this same stature through 1989. Back then, these were predatory champions looking for the most qualified and daunting challengers.

After their rematch, Obelmejias moved up in weight so he wouldn't have to deal with Hagler again. (Ray Leonard also ducked Marv for over five years.) In a published challenge released over a century ago, Sam Langford offered to take on any man in the world except Jim Jeffries. Imagine contenders actually ducking the lure of a title shot from an undisputed champion today! Obviously, somebody this dominant and highly recognized could actually afford to ignore such things as sanctioning fees. (The scheduled ten rounder between Larry Holmes and Marvis Frazier is recorded as having been for the World Heavyweight Championship on boxwreck, despite not being sanctioned by any alphabet organization. Sometimes, the man alone makes the title, and is given dominion over the organization.)
