    no insult to say Tyson would knock out Hopkins. Tyson did well against smaller guys. His power was so devastating that just a few punches or glancing blows were all it took.

    i say 3 rounds hopkins holds on for the first 2 rounds getting 4 points deducted ref threatens to Dq him so he goes in for one more hold but catches an upper cut from hell and all thats left are his boots smoking

    I would pay all the money I have to see Mike Tyson destroy Bhop, every penny I have too, even if it meant I would be poor the rest of my life. If Bhop had the guts to step inside a ring, and lace up them gloves with Tyson, Tyson would destroy him faster than michael Spinx. Prime Mike Tyson is arguably the greatest hw ko artist in the history of the universe. The only way this fight could last longer than SPinx would be if Bhop faked another low blow, and told the ref he needed all 5 minutes to recover. I would love to see Tyson destroy that jack o'lantern.

    I want to thank the poster who made this thread, this is the most fun thread in a long time. I had never ever thought of this match up. Great fun just to think about this fight.

    It would be very interesting, though, to see the survival tactics that 'Nard would employ. He's a maestro at avoiding domination. I imagine he'd try some kind of hit and hug type affair. I don't think it would work for long though as Tyson has such ferocious strength he would just toss him off and resume left-hooking. Perhaps he would simply run, and perhaps that is all he could do.

    The size difference isn't actually that big, as Hop competes well at light heavy and Tyson is a small heavyweight. That tyson would destroy him is testament to Mikes freakish strength.

    I dunno. I'd have to estimate that he'd do better than Spinx. :huh

    Cheers to the others who along with me voted that Bernard would KO Tyson! We are obviously the resident 'thinkers' of the forum...

    umm about 30 seconds. tysons punching power in his prime was ****ing devastating to big heavyweights nevermind middleweights. first punch tyson lands clean might result in hopkins having life threatening injuries.

    I have to admit the idea of Prime Tyson fighting BHOP makes me laugh . Just for the BHOP fans lets make it fair and say BHOP is also in his prime for this fantasy match up. perhaps he could last until the second round.

    What abour prime RJJ vs Prime Tyson. RJJ does not have a great chin like BHOP but he is quicker on his feet and had great reflexes.
