Now that Margarito isn't a champ he can become the mandatory for another belt. That's what helped other champs avoid him for years. Alsoi, he looked beatable for two straight fights. When fighters with name slook beatable ppl line up to cALL them out
That is a one way to look at it. However, he needs to be a mandatory challenger. I still do not see to many belt holders that will opt to fight him as an optional defense.
Bottom line is Margo isnt a draw. And in todays boxing that is the bottomline. It dont really matter if a fighter is that good. Just think about a Prime Tyson, or Jones. yet people lined up to fight them anyways. Its because not only did it offer a fighter a shot at being the best but also a career high payday. Tony could lose another fight and it still wouldnt make people want to fight him. On the flip said a big earner can win 50 fights in a row all by knockout and the other will line up to fight him.

Maybe Cintron will take another shot at him. That would be a good match up for Margo to pick up another belt. I think that will be the most likely route since Cotto and Shane will be busy with each other and Williams may not go ahead with a rematch.
Margo is draw is SoCal thats about it. Did you guys see all the fights at the depot center, nearly every round.
