I can agree with that. A welterweight tourney would be especially awesome, and he has the fighters to do it. I just hope the money doesn't run out before that can happen. They have reported huge losses.

Yep, just forget the idea of building "new" fighters on regular television and lets all order that Mosley-Mayorga rematch for $50 on PPV.

Fortunately, for the rest of us, I don't think any network is going to say "Here's the money back you gave us, Al. Nice try. I know you paid for the time, and the ratings are in the millions, but we'd rather spend our own millions making 30 television show pilots, only choosing two to air, and then cancelling both because nobody watched, and starting over again next season.

Nope. I don't see that happening. I think they're going to keep the money.

So I think you're just going to have to sit back for the next TWO years, which is how long Haymon's contracts are with the networks and see if it "catches on."

If it doesn't, who cares. You weren't out any money. Unless you buy the Mosley-Mayorga PPV.
