    Pretty sure McClellan only beat one fighter who was rated at the time (Jackson), and King always matched him with guys who'd been knocked out before. Is it still hard to judge his punching power?

    Let's not forget, JJ was a light middleweight.
    Comparisons should always be like-with-like IMO.

    JJ was the heaviest puncher I ever saw pound for pound. In terms of just plain and simple power he was number 1 IMO.

    But GGG is so much more than just a hard puncher.

    I think 'The Hawk' just edges him, as he ICED people. I mean he really switched peoples minds/bodies off. Period.

    Saying that though, If Golovkin just went apesh!t/caveman style, he'd probably end up having the same effect.
