    Never saw you down there.

How do you lose spirit? Easily!

Hatton's heart was not in it after being dealt such a huge blow to his confidence in the Collazo fight.

He was a guy who abused his body (far worse than Tyson) and damn well knew he was past it. But getting evidence forced on you like that can deflate a fighter completely.

Just look at Tua. Do you think he is really up for it these days?

I still like Hatton. I think he is very entertaining outside the ring and a difficult matchup inside the ring. I will continue to watch his fights. I just think he fought a better man, simple as that.

yea ok i agree hatton does abuse his body but he has always done that and he always won quite alot of times with coinfidence and plenty left in the tank

Tua and hatton are totally different cant compare them in this situation where tua has 3 defeats on his record and hatton had none and Tua had less to make in his career he wont have a massive fight coming up from where as hatton had evreything make or break in this super fight

but also saying why would hatton take such a major fight if he felt not confident at all going into it? especially with some1 as skilled as flyod mayweather?

Same reason as Tyson took the Lewis fight. Lots of people gave him a good chance going into the fight (especially some notable fighters), but he was just there for the payday.

But you do see how nastily some spin it against the Brits I hope.

We don't get a chance to see many compete at the top level, but the Americans get it their own way all too often as far as excuse making goes ;)

    Anyhow, all in good fun.

yea i agree my friend and when ever we do get somebody who is up there they are always been told they are over rated and shouldnt even be in the same ring as there boxers there are some very country biased people on these sites and sometimes just hope joe calzaghe can do the buisness over there!

If he fights Hopkins then he is screwed. It is a no win situation for the guy.

Well, aside from the many millions he would make of course.

Oh well, that is the way it goes.
