Name them and the ones that still have an opportunity to be ATGs.

A Generation is normally 20 years. so maybe 93 until now.

    When does the generation start?

Well these are the most recent ATGs:

    - Floyd
    - Pac
    - Ward
    - Wlad
    - Calzaghe
    - Hopkins
    - Marquez

Can't think of anyone else. Donaire was on his way but got exposed pretty thoroughly by a soon-to-be ATG.

    Potential ATGs:

    - Rigo (yep, it's gonna happen. Nobody is beating him at a weight he's comfortable at)
    - Bradley (I don't think so. Beating Pac legitimately could change my mind)
    - Cotto (not sure)

RJJ, depending on how you classify the current generation.

Right! "our generation" isn't a fixed constant in this matter.
Some posters here were walking around in greyscale for a large part of their lives and may have even cheered for Louis against Marciano, while others weren't even born when Holyfield vs Tyson I took place... So what's "our generation"? :blood

Depends on if certain fighters are in this generation for example is Bhop, Toney, RJJ, this generation. If not then this is who i class as ATG

    Pacquiao
    Mayweather
    JMM
    Klitschko's
    Calzaghe
    Ward
    Morales
    ODLH
    Shane Mosley
Rigondeaux, maybe not yet but only a matter of time
    Cotto?
    Martinez?
    Bradley? not yet but possible

Born in 86...boxing interest started around 2000 so Calzaghe, Pac, Flloyd and Klitchko's.

Potential for Ward, Bradley and Golovkin if you ask me. Also I hope I will be telling my Kids about Lomachencko when they are my age.

i put more stock on losing a competitive fight against tough/risky opponent/rival versus avoiding a fight.

floyd losing a decision to pac is way better than floyd winning against ortiz/guerrero/shot cotto/drained canelo combined.

    thats just my opinion.

    floyd drained a nobody, lmao.

lets see if floyd has balls to even step on his 6th.

on pac;s 7th div 'he was walking down cotto" :rofl:hi:

floyd fought unroided, granpa, snail mail punch mosley and almost died:deal
