Taking current fighters and not shot to bits guys like RJJ, Morales, Toney etc who are still lacing them up, I'd say:

Surefire ATG's = Pacquaio, Mayweather, Hopkins

Probable ATG's/certainly first ballot HOF = JMM, Wladamir

Will be HOF, potential to be ATG in a few years time if they keep winning = Ward, Bradley, Rigo

HOF but not ATG = Cotto, Martinez, Donaire, Chris John, Carl Froch,

Guys who have potential to be/on their way to at least HOF but haven't done enough yet (i.e. future stars when Mayweather and Co. retire) = GGG (can be undisputed at MW and move up to SMW), D and M Garcia (both young, won't know for years but already top 15 P4P) Roman Gonzalez, Mares (if he bounces back from his loss) Lomachenko, Estrada, Santa Cruz, etc etc.

Truth be told, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, two outstanding fighters. Also Juan Manuel Marquez, exceptional Mexican multiweight champion. Outstanding talents are RJJ and ODLH, but as atg's there are many question marks around them. As heavyweights, Lewis and the Klitchsko's are among the best. Rigo and Golovkin are superb talents, see where there paths lead. Possibly Martinez and without question the great Bernard Hopkins.

Bro how can you have Calzaghe in any generations ATG list? That's an insult to other ATGs in the list. The guy hid in Wales all his career and his best wins are way past best rjj and Hopkins

I don't see how Bradley's name can come up so much with the dirty spoiling tactics and running and losing fights he won IN HIS PRIME, ending fights almost on the canvas, etc. Hopkins spoiling is a product of his late thirties and forties, he beat men from pillar to post in his youth, besides Roy jones. Bradley's best win is the close fight with a very old JMM who is only super elite fighting a guy he knows inside out whose number he always had at this age.

Yeah, I'm not sure if he's an ATG. The RJJ win is obviously not a huge factor towards including or excluding him from any list but beating Hopkins at that stage of his career while going up a division is not bad. Sadly, the fight result is pretty controversial. I had Hopkins winning that fight as well but it is what it is.
Longevity and the Hopkins W are basically the points I'd formulate in favour of Cal. Wlad's case is similar minus a signature win.

Obviously very ignorant to the facts
Only around half of Calzaghes title fights were in Wales.
Calzaghe was past his best when he beat Jones and Hopkins.
He beat Eubank, Hopkins, Jones, undefeated Kessler, Mitchell who had never clearly lost at SMW, Reid, Woodhall, Veit, Brewer, undefeated Lacy who were all top 10 rated and had or were SMW champs.
Even now after being retired for years he still casts a massive shadow over the 2 divisions he fought in. The new champ at SMWs best win is a past best, unwell, rusty, double vision sufferimg fighter that Calzaghe beat when prime and undefeated and Bika who Calzaghe beat when prime now past best has a SMW title and that was when Calzaghe was faded. At LHW Hopkins has become a champ again after Calzaghe handed him arguably his worst defeat.

Eubank was past his best and he wasn't great he was good. To be an ATG you have to beat great fighters. Which great fighters did Calzaghe beat? Kessler is his best win. The Hopkins win was controversial and every man and his dog knows that a prime Hopkins or prime rjj would have beat Calzaghe. Lacy was exposed he was a nobody.
