How many believe Wlad has the intention of punishing Haye for 12 long rounds?

It makes the fans think they willl get to see him exact his revenge on Haye and what better way to do it than a sustained beating?

The better way to do it is to take him out, early.

The longer Haye is in there, the threat Haye presents to Wlad is still looming, as Haye can explode in a swarm at any time. Wlad knows this and won't take any risks by passing up a chance to take him just so he can beat his face to a bloody mess.

    Not happening.....

I don't think Steward and Wlad are foolish enough to *intentionally* alllow Haye to stay in there. They'll take the chance to get him out, as quicklyl as the opportunity presents itself. If not even sooner, by Wlad creatingan opportunity to get him outta there.

Wlad by aggressive KO..........round 5 at the VERY latest. The pizza face line is a PR line to sell the *sweet revenge* angle, but in reality, it makes little sense from a tactical standpoint. Wlad knows this, and will try to minimize the risk, and wisely get Haye outta there, quickly.

But taking out someone with Haye's explosive speed and crippling power is like trying to difuse a stick of lit dynamite. Must be done carefully, but quickly before it *goes off* on you.

Imagine if wlad came out like a wild animal and destroyed haye in two rounds, that would drop some jaws.
Isnt going to happen though, another ibragimov, black eye for boxing big win for wlads legacy, klitschko dominance continues.

Its honestly just trash talk in my opinion. Its a fight, you have a chance to take a guy out and you do it. I know Wlad will bring that approach to the ring, if he hurts Haye he surely won't go take a break while he recovers so he can keep beating him. To me its just Wlad saying that Haye needs a good beating, it may take 12 rounds and the scorecards, but if it goes there the scores will be lopsided in Wlad's favor. I want to see a KO in this fight, but a win, is a win, is a win.

Wlad has that reach and is used to a methodical style, it's been making him a dominant champ for years now and I don't see him breaking from it.

Wlad cannot mess up this one. I hate to bring this thread down but if this fight goes south for Wlad, it will get ugly. I think Steward will turn on him. I listen to many of Steward's interview's on Wlad and the current heavyweights and I just do not get the impression he is "all in" so to speak. I also get the distinct impression that Vitaly and Steward are not all that crazy about one another.

I just have this hunch that Steward is along for the financial ride, nothing more. He probably reports back to Lewis and kisses his ass about how great they were together when he is training Wlad.

I feel weird even posting this opinion, especially considering how cordial a particular member of team Klitschko has been with his time and information here on ESB.

Bottom line is that Wlad has to come through big in this one. I am stressing more over this fight than if it were me preparing for a contest of this magnitude.

No chance. This fight will be over inside 4 rounds whatever the outcome. 2 big hitters, both have glass jaws.....not going to be a long night.

Wlad will do what he always does. Saftey first. No unnecessarily opening up. It will be illegal stiff arm, clinch, jab clinch clinch jab, maybe a right hand or hook after exhaustion sets in...If he takes out Haye early, it will be because Haye is fragile and a decent shot landed, not because Wlad has suddenly developed a killer instinct or an ability to adapt.

No way Haye can take beating for 12 rounds. His stamina is horrible. Wlad will pace the fight and have his jab setting the distance and pace by round three. By round 6 Haye would of attempted several wild looping shots to no avail and become disocurage. WLAD by TKO in round 8 after Haye gets up from being knocked down on spaghetti legs and critizices the ref for stopping it too early.

I personally think the fight will end with a Wald KO within the first 3 rounds or by the 6th at the latest. I predict within 6. I don't think Wald want's to punish him, neither does Steward. I think both want an early KO to make a statement to the world about Wald. I think the 12 rounds line from Wald is a false statement. We will see.

    Peace ( Wald by KO)

Disagree. Over within 6 or earlier by way of Wald KO over Haye. And yes
Wald will fight this different. We can only wait, watch and see. Wald and Steward are not fools. If you buy into the 12 round ****? Only my thoughts.

    Peace

If Wlad strings this one out, we will see Steward deliver a supercharged version of the "get this mother****er out of here" speech Steward yelled at Lewis against Tyson between rounds.

I too get the impression Steward had a lot more faith in Lewis than he has in Wlad. Just little things he's said in interviews about how Lewis could fight in different ways, or be told to do something different between rounds (like against Vitaly) and just go out and do it.

I don't think that's his plan but if it happens we'll have a debate going for a long, long time that was it intentional or coincidence.
We might even get rid of weekly Lewis/Vitali threads..
