i live in cali and we're a dieing breed here i meet maybe 1 or 2 fans real fight fans but they live 2hrs away so i just watch the fights on my own
I have a brother and a couple friends and our wives to a lesser degree who watch every fight and we usually try to attend a few live cards throughout the year. I'm not sure how or when they ever got into boxing, I just know we've been getting together at each other's houses for years now and watch the fights. I see people who mention their friends liking MMA but I can honestly say I've never met a person that watches it or anything similar to it. Most people I know follow the bigger sports, baseball,football, basketball, etc. and the handful of us who watch boxing, I've never heard anyone I know even mention MMA.
My best friends in boxing are probably Duncan Dokiwari, Friday Ahunanya (heavyweight contender) Teke Oruh and David Defiagbon along with Layla McCarter female champion and Luis Tapia .. Fridays Manager.. I have a lot of friends in the game but these are my fondest.......
