Do you go to many? Do you support the local scene as well as the bigger shows? How many have you been to this year?
Zero Haven't been to one since the farce in Hamburg July 2011. Also because there's no good shows in my own country.
At the very least since 2011, 4. I attend alot more local small matches between Palm Springs (Golden Boy), Ontario at the Doubletree Hotel(Thompson Promotions), Studio City (Top Rank) and occasionally in Tijuana. They have a ton of fights out in Vegas at The D hotel and every once in awhile its a fight at Pechanga Casino like Bradley vs Alexander back when Alexander was the A side. Since the fall of Friday Night Fights not many fights have been made at the big Casinos in So Cal. I miss FNF. PBC don't come to anything but Staples and Stub Hub. I like to see debut fights. A young dude named Kevin Watts is fighting tonight and I first saw him fighting at the Bing Crosby Hall here in Del Mar back in 2014. Now he will be headlining on FS1. Thats what I like to see, the beginning, before they get the money and won't talk to you anymore.
Going to Canelo's fight, my first. Disappointed in the cancelled fights though. A buddy of mine can get me into the press conferences and weigh ins though.
I go to most if not all the local club shows in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and surrounding states. I do try to go to as many as I can, not just to watch, but to also work; unfortunately with me having a new career, my time is very limited to go to fights...!!!
Dude they Those local small fights are some o the best entertainment ever. The crowd is there for the fights and not the celebrity.
