jesus, comparing khan,to such men like bruno and cooper.
Bruno and Cooper went the right way, british and european titles, khan in all his ignorance ****ed all that off cos he thought he could beat everyone put in front of him, look at the way he ran at precott like he was gonna blow him over.
yes us brits like our losers, cooper, bruno, eubanks, benn, watson, bomber, ect ect
but they are losers becouse they fought the best at the time, and then came back to win, some of them came back better boxers to beat better boxers,to win world titles.
we like tryers, not big mouth gobshites who talk the talk but fall over when someone hits them right.
has 4 khan being a pakista 1st,brit next,i think he is very proud of being both

I woulda supported Khan if he made waves at LW.

But I do find it really quite funny more than anything else.

I suppose largely because Khan is the 'I dont know **** about boxing, I watched the 04 Olympics, pretend to know my ****, Khan is amazing' type of 'fan's Golden Boy.

Khan has been exposed big time, and its funny because it shows up the dickheads who know **** all and reckon he is amazing, simply because the equally ignorant media hyped him up so much.

We narrowly avoided a 'Khan' moment. If Jason Litzau(American Boy) had won a few more fights, I think our hype machine would have been in full drive. Thank God, the South American floored him a few years ago on FNFs, giving us a reality check. Litzau lost that fight but was given a gift decision. :-(
Can you imagine if an over-hyped 'American Boy' had gotten brained by a foreigner....   ?
It's much more enjoyable seeing it happen to you guys...as a matter of fact, I'm laughing my ass off this very minute...no kidding, I really am.

Bruno never fought for the British title and as for the European title he won it and never bothered to defend it. So you're comments about him doing it the 'right way' are erroneous. Like Khan, Bruno was more interested in the world scene. Like Khan, he was hyped. Like Khan, his chin was suspect (Jumbo Cummings - Sportsnight, 1983). Like Khan, his chin let him down before he could claim a world title. There are plenty of similarities so there's no need to bring Jesus into it. What remains to be seen is if Khan can come back from a shattering defeat and win a world belt. I, for one, hope he can.
