Having won the title so early in his career, and now seemingly only fighting twice a year. Realistically, how many career fights do you think AJ will have? Failing a bum of the month club after potentially unifying the titles, I can't see him having anymore than 30 bouts..
Think your right 30-35 my guess. Expect from 2018 he will only fight 2 times a year and lack of competition in the HW division.
If he retires around 33-34, then he is going to get to around 30-32 fights. Now he has hit the heights he will not be fighting more twice per year
30-35 sounds about right, this rematch with Wlad is still very much up in the air as to who wins as far as I'm concerned,if Wlad hadn't had the rematch clause I'm not sure AJ and Hearn would of been keen on doing it again as Wlad is still bloody good and mighty dangerous. I believe Wlad had the option of the rematch any time he liked so I would of actually liked Wlad to face Wilder for the WBC and bring that to the table for the rematch,of course with Wilder there's a big physical threat of being KO,d but I'm not sure Wilder could have lived with the Wlad that fought AJ. Re AJ he could of fought Pulev before the Wlad rematch, just bugs me this rematch as its impossible to top the first match and it just comes across as a money grab by both guys.
Every fight from AJ is now a huge event....won,t be more than 2 a year maybe only 1 It,s all about the money
Big money fights take many months to put together so 1-2 fights per year and lack of competition will mean be will call it a day before 35.
Well he's talked of fighting for another decade and Hearn said he'll fight twice per year now, so that's 39 fights in total. So it could be around that if you don't factor in injuries or him retiring earlier or later.
He will go past 40.If undefeated still may go for 50 and take more fights here and there a year to do it.? right now i would say 40.
